HOW TO PLAY
Cast a line and walk away. Bites come at random: worms in a minute, suckers in hours. The longer you wait before the bite, the bigger the fish can be. Leave a bait line out 12 hours or more and you are guaranteed a fish of at least 20 lb (if one that big lives there and takes that bait).
When a line shows BITE!, press REEL. The fish stays hooked until you do, even overnight.
Make money by selling fish: press SELL on the catch card, or sell later from MENU, then YOUR FISH. Bigger and rarer fish are worth far more, and the daily challenge pays a bonus.
Spend it on better bait, more lines, stronger line (so big fish don't snap it) and boats that reach new water.
Open the MAP. The first trip to a region costs a ticket; after that you can go there any time for free. Each spot runs on its own local time: dawn and dusk are prime time.
Every spot hides one legend. Only one player on Earth can own it. Read its clue in the Legends screen: right bait, right time of day, a long wait, and line strong enough to hold it.
Add friends by name#tag to trade fish and coins. Legends can be traded but never sold.
Turn on the fish alert in the menu to get a little window that pops up when something bites, even while you work.
Be kind: no real names, and use the report button if someone's name is a problem.
